Testimonials

“We would like to thank you for your recent contribution to our continuing education programme by speaking at our meeting in Beaufield Mews on 12/10/2010. We received excellent feedback on your talk, which certainly provided a lot of food for thought for the attending GPs. No doubt you will be seeing some of them for further advice.”

“Ken, I am deeply grateful to you for your considerable advice and knowledge on my affairs. You have a wonderful – but a very scarce – capacity to make the complex simple. Your ability to communicate is exceptional and I feel privileged to have met you.”

“In relation to the forensic accounting review, Cathal did very good work and clearly identified glitches in the other side’s armour”

“Tax is such a necessary topic for GPs and Practice Managers, and yet all so often we avoid it or approach it with great trepidation. The best way to dispel this anxiety is to listen to advice you can trust, so you know what to do and when to do it. Ken’s experience with General Practice means he knows exactly which areas of taxation are relevant to General Practices and as a Chartered Tax Adviser he knows exactly what needs to be done to save tax.   Ken’s presentation at the PracticeManager.ie Annual National Meeting explained in a no-nonsense manner how to ensure you are maximising your profits and minimising your tax. His practical approach and question and answer style made the session engaging and memorable. The feedback from the day was that Ken’s advice would deliver a real benefit to GP Practices”.

"I have been a client of Cusack Garvey on a personal and business level since the early 1990’s. A break in the middle of this which saw us work with a much larger firm for four years, resulted in us beating a hasty retreat back to Cusack Garvey, underlining the key reasons that we continue to work with them. Firstly, they take a personal interest in what they are doing for us, we’re not simply a file on someone’s desk, we are a personal client. Secondly, our contact point at the firm is consistent and they continually go that extra mile to ensure they get the right solution for us. In my experience, they are well regarded by the institutions they interact with on my behalf. They do things of value for us and can connect at all levels, be it basic personal finance up to higher levels of corporate support. I can recommend the firm for any person from sole trader up to the largest of SME’s and beyond.   Ken’s presentation at the PracticeManager.ie Annual National Meeting explained in a no-nonsense manner how to ensure you are maximising your profits and minimising your tax. “Cusack Garvey have been the accountants for The Irish Association for Emergency Medicine (IAEM) for many years. During this time, apart from assistance with preparation and submission of annual accounts, they have also assisted us in obtaining charitable status and with the budget negotiations for ICEM 2012, the world conference in Emergency Medicine. They demonstrate a personal interest in us as clients and are always available to provide sound advice”.

“Almost everyone is happy with their new accountant after two weeks but when they’re happy after two years you know the accountant is doing something right.  I have referred a number of people to Cusack Garvey and they have been very happy with the service.  Ken’s presentation at the PracticeManager.ie Annual National Meeting explained in a no-nonsense manner how to ensure you are maximising your profits and minimising your tax.
